 The
development and the expansion of the city also changed
the life style of its inhabitants. They adopted the modern
way of life. In the old days the houses were built of
mud and wood and debris walls were very common. For light
and ventilation wind catchers were erected at the roof
but with the increase in trade and commerce activities,
and the new riches, the people adopted a luxurious life
style.
Karachi has many historical buildings. The details of a few
